Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of Brandwatcher, operated by Includable ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Brandwatcher checks domain names that resemble the brands you register with us across public domain extensions, and emails you when their registration status, registrar or nameservers change. Checks rely on public DNS, RDAP and WHOIS data from third-party registries. Registries rate-limit and sometimes block lookups, so a check can be inconclusive; we show you when that happens and retry on the next run. We do not promise that every lookalike is found or every change is reported.

Your account

You need an account and an organization to use the dashboard. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

Acceptable use

Use Brandwatcher only for brands and domains you own or are authorised to protect. Do not use it to harass domain owners, to collect data for spam, or to overload the registries we query. We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans and payment

The Free plan covers one brand with one domain. The Pro plan costs the price shown on brandwatcher.app per organization per month, billed in advance through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the organization's billing settings; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not refunded for the remainder of the month. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

How we handle data is described in the privacy policy. You keep all rights to the brand and domain information you give us.

Liability

Brandwatcher is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by a missed or late alert, by inaccurate registry data, or by the service being unavailable. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your organization and account at any time. We may end the service with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you break these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. Questions go to hello@brandwatcher.app.
